Yeah, I think the designs going to suffer either way since they're leaning so heavy on the alien aesthetic. Whether it's CGI or physical suits, the crew still needs to make sure they conform to human proportions. That's not going to work when the designs themselves are stretched and skewed.

Lost Galaxy and RPM, I think. For LG, they had to completely change the theme and setting (Forest to Space) and also created new main villains (the Gingaman villain only appeared for an arc toward the end). RPM is probably the most changed from the Sentai, but I'm not sure if it has the most American footage. I'd defiantly say it's in the top 5.
Season 3 is likely up there, since the only time they used the sentai footage was during the Alien Ranger mini series.
In Space and Lost Galaxy are also up there, mainly because the change of settings (video games and jungle animals) to outer space would require alternative settings.

IIRC it was when Fox was airing both Power Rangers in Space and a Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. They tried promoting the latter with the former since it was still wildly popular.
For all they tried (Turtles, Mystic Knights, Masked Rider, Galidor, VR Troopers), they never could get a second toku franchise to catch fire quite like PR did. Beetleborgs came close but that just wasn't sustainable.

They could benefit by doing away with the red highlights on the PR text (which have been on since Ninja Storm). The Ninja Steel text seems awkwardly distorted, almost like they tried making the text bigger than the PR text but then someone said no. Honestly the whole thing is just awkwardly shaped and the thin text doesn't do it wonders.I miss the Disney logos.
