Is Titan AE /m/? Also, thoughts?
Only in the same way Star Wars is /m/.
>>14202241
It's not, but has /m/ elements?
>>14202248
P. much.
Saw it during its theatrical release. Major letdown.
Tried to hard to skirt the line between kid's movie and older teen sci-fi movie so it doesn't do either all that great.
Also it's the plot of Xenoblade Chronicles X, funnily. Wonder if Takahashi saw AE.

>has literal robots and robots people pilot
>Star Wars is not /m/
I DON'T FUCKING UNDERSTAND.
>>14202357
I don't make the memes anon, I just report them
>>14202357
It's when the specific thread's topic in question is about the non-mechanical characters and other non-mechanical aspects you fucking idiot. Bitch about splitting hairs but when the thread clearly isn't about the droids/ships/weapons at all then why the fuck should it be on this board?
I haven't seen it in a long time but I remember liking it
>>14202383
>The specific fucking topic is about Titan AE
>OP and no one else has derailed shit
>>14202357
Yeah he's full of shit ignore him.
It's fun enough, the plot could be better.
People overrate Titan A.E. a lot because of the talent involved. Saw it for the first time a few years ago and the pacing was utter shit. Neat concepts, but it feels all so rushed.
>>14202564
Yeah, the pacing isn't good. Especially in the 2nd half of the movie. Still, it is pretty good overall. Watched it again the other day.

As an adult or child?
I haven't watched it since it was new, but I recall it as mediocre but not terrible.
>>14202115
Saw it in theaters when I was 8. I enjoyed it, but I was 8 and pretty much any space movie was enjoyable to me when I was 8. Never saw it since.
>>14204998
I'm a late 80's kid, so it was a letdown as a child.
I think I re-watched once during my mid teens and my opinion was still negative, on imdb I gave it a 4/10.
Not here to shit on anyone's movie, just my 2 cents.

Still hate the name Bob.
