For years before seeing ZZ, I kept reading how Tomino wanted gentler finale for Kamille in Zeta. I thought going into ZZ that Kamille would remain near a catatonic state permanently. Yet ZZ showed that not only did he fully recover but he went on to life a happy life with the woman he loved.
