Yes. The Mazinger Z manga has multiple editions with different chapter orders. Why? I don't know the various reasons, but for at least a few of the editions of Mazinger it's because they mixed Shonen Jump and Terebi Magazine chapters. For Great Mazinger, I don't know why they're out of order but the edition you're using is out of date compared to the one volume Great Mazinger that was published more recently.

I'm not certain, but I don't think so. Again, it's mostly a guess from Amazon reviews of the more recent edition. I do know that the most recent edition does not include the final Mazinger Z stories found in volume 1 of the scanlated Great Mazinger.
