Hey /m/, newfag here. im about 10 episodes in on mobile suit gundam seed, and I have one question that bothers the hell out of me. Do they ever explain how Orb able to shit out the gundam, which seems to out preform anything the opposition seems to have in what seems to be so little time. I mean in the first episode an unskilled pilot was able to decimate 2 GINs, and then nearly destroyed a section of a colony by themselves. How come plant hasn't seemed to produced anything that comes near it, why is mwu so cool?

Well they built Gundams in Heliopolis, just not the main Gundams you see in SEED.Astrays count as Gundams right?

I assumed since Orb had both coordinators and naturals they could steal tech from both sides or something.

Orb develops their own tech, but the Gundams were a joint development between EA and Orb. Orb actually doesn't have much in the way of MS technology, Morganroete stole as much as they could from the EA's Gundam designs and technology so they could build their Astray series of MS.
