Why bother with Ghost? Anything sequel after Steel 7 was shit anyways. Not like the Ghost story was good to begin with...

I care about what happens to the Shrike girls. That's really all that matters to me in the series.
>>

So Satan while you are shitposting I will just go ahead.

So you have read the story? If so do you just have the dump of what happens? Or are you just a faggot?

I will guess the later.

Coolant packs iirc.

The phantom has an imperfect version of the F-99's minovsky drive which overheats and shuts off after a very short time. The packs keep it cool and extend the duration it can use the drives.

What? Isn't Ghost the only Crossbone sequel after Steel 7?

yeah it is. the guy is an idiot. Crossbones have never been 10/10 stories, they're a fun read and thats about it.

>>

Maybe it's like one of those comic book cover fakeouts. The suit did look to be split kind of unevenly, with most of the cockpit intact. Until I see a body I'm holding out hope.
>>
>>14177459
Did Tobia actually? That sucks. Why can't anyone be happy in these Hasegawa stories?

>>

Seabook got to.
>>
>>14178241
Like I said, most of the cockpit actually looks pretty intact. If it exploded thereafter then I retract my observation, but I could totally see him sneakily limping away from that with a missing limb or two.
>>
>>14178249
this isn't Destiny or 00 where people survive getting chopped clean in the cockpit.
>>
>>14178241
e-emergency escape!
>>
>>14178255
It wasn't clean though the cockpit though. The Crossbone's cockpit isn't in the abdomen like most Gundams, it's in the bulbous part of the chest right behind the skull, same location as the V2. And that part looks at least partially intact in that picture.
>>
>>14178255

Yea, it's Crossbone. Where they train monkeys to pilot mobile suits, where blind people pilot and where mobile suits are modeled on clowns and gangsters. Someone surviving a mobile suit explosion isn't going to happen in such a grounded and realistic story, get your shit straight son.
>>
>>14178235
You know the thing that's said about stories: if they just keep going past the logical happy ending, everyone will eventually die.

>>14178249
>but I could totally see him sneakily limping away from that with a missing limb or two.
Problem with that is that he's blind. At that point you either go full cyborg or spare him the suffering.
>>
>>14178268
It's okay, the emergency shield installed on the right side of his cockpit for just such an occasion activated at the last minute to save him without a scratch.

And now I've made myself want the Freedom debut, but with Tobia, since he would actually be a welcome sight inspiring actual awe.

Tobia survived that, I can't confirm but it seems he even appeared in the epilogue set in UC 170
>>
>>14178277
Well good, maybe a robo limb or two will finally convince him to take a leaf from his mentor, pack in the heroics and settle down with his woman.
>>
>>14178293
YES! In your face logic!
>>
>>14178273
>Where they train monkeys to pilot mobile suits
hey thats garma related.
>where blind people pilot
echolocation is a real thing and its sci-fi not too crazy especially with UC and crazy newtypes
>where mobile suits are modeled on clowns and gangsters
and weird MS designs make it possible to survive getting cut in half with a plasma sword?

never said it was realistic but in Crossbone people actually die and stat dead. except Seabook, he survives anything.

If you have to use that word then your argument is probably worthless. The point is moot anyways, since >>14178307 seems to indicate he does survive.
>>
It seems Jack survived too, he was thought to have been killed by Kizo in the final battle
>>
>>14178316
That remains to be seen. Hasegawa doesn't seem to believe in swapping protagonists/casts on the fly like for the rest of UC.

ever heard the term outlier or the exception to the rule? yeah its important to state those as well

and yeah with the info of tobia surviving makes it obvious and pointless now.

God I hope so. I don't want him to die, I want him to finally take a load off and spend the rest of his life plowing Bernadette silly (I mean, more than he already did).

Leave the heroics to the next generation. He's not quite as bonkers as Tobia, but he *is* really, really good at killing people. That counts for something, right?

There is one hope: >>14180894
>>
>>14180865

Since it's a direct sequel Hasegawa will likely set up the prologue to summarize the previous story, which is all anyone really needs anyways.

Crossbone is overrated and there's fucktons of other manga that should be done first.

>>

>echolocation
Yeah, I don't know why people think that's what he uses.

What's actually going on is that the ghost is built to feed audio interpretation of what its visual sensors are seeing into Tobia's ears, like certain tones for contacts of certain sizes and proximities or whatever.
>>
>>14178277
>You know the thing that's said about stories: if they just keep going past the logical happy ending, everyone will eventually die.
There's a difference between dying as a young man and dying as an old man.
>>
>>14181400
True, though regardless what I'm saying is that one needs to end the story at a logical point, otherwise the chance for mainstay characters to get deathflags may increase over time.
