It's pretty good. I like the proportions, the wings to fuselage ratio. I like how you made the wings a bit longer. In doing so however they look a little too blocky and heavy. Maybe it will look better if you run the taper further down the wing?

Are you blind? The fuselage proportions, blended nosecone, hemispherical engine housings, and general sleekness are straight from the concept art. The only real changes were the final engine details and deflector housings to make them a little closer to the OT version, and the split wings, which is a matter of personal taste.
The point is, we can objectively observe that the TFA-wing has more in common with the original concept design than the T-65 does. You're trying to make this about subjective opinions, and I'm not stupid enough to indulge you.
