Honestly, J-Decker is probably better than what I rate it, but it's just not my type of show. It wasn't like it was painful to watch or anything. None of these were, although FINAL did suck.

I mostly give Exkaiser points for having pretty good execution for its weak concept. The Geisters are fun, the robots are cool (except for the Rakers; bullet trains are always the absolute most boring vehicle to base a robot off of), the music is pretty catchy and Thunder Flash may just be the coolest finishing move in the series. I like it more than the god damn Goldion Hammer. It's everything Dancoukogaken should have been.
Incidentally, Great Da Garn GX has the greatest combination sequence of all time.

J-Decker reminded me an awful a lot of Car Robots/ Robots in Diguise 2001. Good old fashioned cell animation!

The animation is kinda subpar which is to be expected of 90's kids shows. Despite that I love Goldran's transformation sequence, gets me pumped as much as GGG's final fusion.
Character wise the three protagonists are pretty nice but I can see if some people find them annoying since most of the stuff they do is solely comedic and they do yell alot. As for the villain however, Walter Walzak is hands down my favorite character in that show. He is a major asshole especially when he tries to kill kids on the first episode for not giving him what he wanted, but I cant help but to like him no matter what stupid shit he does in the show. The episodes that focus primarily on him are my favorite aswell.
Do give this show a watch if you wanna enjoy lighthearted and comedic robot action

I actually thought Goldran had a really good cast of robots, probably second only to J-Decker. Dran was like a beleaguered nanny, Sorakage was appropriately edgy, Captain Shark was a bloody viking, and Advenger had a lot more guts and determination than your typical side character Brave due to being a powerhouse in his own right. The Silver Knights and Leon were kinda generic, but they're a combining team and a protagonist accessory respectively, so it's to be expected. But anyway, I still really did like how Goldran handled its robot cast. All of them got numerous moments to stand out and it never felt like Goldran was the only useful or competent one.

It helps that both this and J-Decker got directed by Takamatsu. Given how the robots in Might Gaine tended to fall in line with Yatabe's simplistic personalities or lack there of, he may have been taking his baby steps there.

i've yet to see J-decker or the other brave shows besides GGG and Exkaiser but im glad how they let the other brave robots have the finishing kill in a few episodes instead of having the main robot do the work every single episode, if it werent for the support from his fellow braves, Dran would've been killed early on.I disliked Sorakage for being edgy the first few episodes but he's alot more tolerable now. when it comes down to what's my favorite robot personality wise, i'd have to go with Dran and Advenger
Also I'm barely on Captain Shark's debut episode and I must say he's really damn cool, helps the fact that he's accompanied by Walter sama

Almost all of them, my dude. I think Might Gaine is the only one left without full subs. I'd highly recommend J-Decker and Goldran.
Da-Garn is really good too, and personally I enjoyed DugOne (yes yes I know it's really Dagwon) too. I seem to be in the minority that I liked Goldran least of all.

Might Gaine has full subs and is totally watchable (hell, just last Christmas we streamed the last few episodes, which led to BLACK NOIR TRIES TO RUIN /M/'S CHRISTMAS, they were fine even with the crabsticks) if you can stomach those.
Really the only annoyance is that some episodes end up one line off on all the subs, which is actually really fucking annoying but it doesn't happen TOO often. Other that that it's just silly crabsticky things like pic.

There's some really cool stuff here, like the layout of Yuuta's house, and detailed vehicle interiors. Interestingly, there are is Build Tiger, Shadowmaru, Drill Boy, or any references for the later characters. Perhaps there's a second set that includes those, which I feel compelled to start searching for.
I must have had the biggest damn grin on my face when I saw Obari's signature on page 85. I hope anyone looking to draw Brave-style robots finds this as useful as I'm sure I will.

Modern anime industry outsources most of their animation to underpaid Koreans so it's produced as quickly and cheaply as possible, and you get what you paid for: lazy animation. Most modern shows lack any of the character that drawn cels offered too.
Plus openings tended to always look great because that's first thing you see each episode.
