Usually he's quite mousy, even in early action scenes but after the revelations in Ghost World I really did love that sense of panic and anger he gave off when he came back.

Really enjoyed this episode
Cinematography's pretty neat, Angry!Takeru is cathartic to watch, and so much happened.
The Ganma really need to stop leaving all of their power mushrooms in the same room. Or at least put a lock on the door.
I honestly wasn't all that impressed with Takeru's acting this episode. I thought Alain's whimpering when his dad died was much better.
Also nice to see some background for Onari and potential for development for Cubi.

Oh, yeah, obviously. I just find it amusing that Alain, Takeru and now Makoto all grabbed their upgrades out of the same room.
Also it indicates that Adel's kind of an idiot for letting Edith keep doing it, but Adel doesn't come across like he's all that smart to begin with.

One of my favorite parts of Blade is seeing the ENTIRE cast freaking the fuck out when they realized exactly what Kenzaki just managed to do.
I take it from the comments that Ghost has gotten better? I stopped follow it from week to week after about like episode 20 or 22 because I was getting kind of bored with the characters and plot, but I may catch back up with it now.

Ghost seems like it's gotten better with each passing arc. I was pretty satisfied with where it started going after episode 10, but it's definitely kept getting better after 20.

It seems like it's doing what Gaim and Drive did and spending the first third faffing about with toys before the writers start gearing up for whatever they're planning.
The cast is still pretty weak (coming off Drive, anyway; they're miles beyond Wizard's) but Alain at least has had some decent chances for development and this recent one added some hints of depth to Onari of all people.
Plus there's a plot now.

Onari and Akari both really surprised me with how much they became credits to team after the early episodes. I really do like how the Ganma are a mix of the spiritual and the scientific instead of Akari's whole shtick being useless.
Certainly things are getting pretty interesting.
What have we learned?:
>Adel unlocked the Ganmaizers, dormant organisms on the pray chamber, and he plans to use them to take over the world of the living, like the asshole he is.
>Despite that, the emperor still believed his intentions were pure and was 'playing along'/ accepting his imminent demise.

This is how I feel about Ghost:
The first 10 or so episodes were a bore and were basically just setting up the characters for you to like them, and then Takeru gets a reset which felt like the entire first portion was pointless outside of saving Kanon. As soon as Makoto got thrown into the picture and Alain started getting more screentime the show got much better much quicker, they had what they wanted to do with Onari and Akari down pat and I really enjoy both of them, they've given the Eyecons their personalities, they've made good fights, and they've kept improving on making you want to watch the show.
Honestly, my only complaint is how Takeru has been throughout the show. He's just kind of constantly wavering in and out of believing in himself and while he's a major stepping block for a lot of characters to shine, I just wish they'd take the time to work on him more at the very least.
TL;DR: It's definitely improved as a show and while early on it was kind of just run-of-the-mill it's gained characters you enjoy watching week to week and the overall story is interesting.

He hasn't been nearly as bad about having to refind his resolve every few weeks as Kouta was. But I don't know if anybody will ever beat Kouta for how many episodes are about finding new resolve.
Takeru's thing for the past few weeks has mostly been that he's super fucking pissed at the Ganma but has no idea where to start looking for how to deal with them.

Now that i think about it, didn't the sage mentioned to adel last episode about how he made the E-driver G with the purpose to give it to the future emperor, or something like that?
He may be goin the sagara route, fanning the flames of war to search someone who will inherit the world, we know sagara did it because he's a dick who likes to see people kill each other for the sake of 'watching evolution unfold', but in this case, what could the sage possibly win by grooming someone strong to inherit the world?
It cant be something good given his shadyness and evil laughs, both as eadith and the sage, thats for sure. Sagara was a dick, but he never was interested in doing something with all the previous men of the beginning for his own ends.

It's not often I can point to a single screenshot and say "this is the moment the last shreds of desire to keep watching I had disappeared" but here we are.
I think at this point I'm only keeping on it because I'm too deep in and figure "well it's already halfway over I may as well just finish it."
like during the second half of the episode shit was getting real, but the entire time I just couldn't care. And not caring is bad but I think it actually goes deeper than that. I think I hate this show, because unlike say Wizard where I just didn't care, I really, really want to care about this one and it just hasn't let me.
Maybe in a few episodes time the small things that were still sticking with me will creep back up, or start actually amounting to more than just small things, but for now I feel mentally over this series.

Because Kouta's situation kept changing throughout the show. First he finds out the Inves Game is serious business when he gets thrown off the cliff. Then he finds out the monsters already overran and destroyed a previous civilization and are coming here. Then he realizes he killed his friend without knowing it. And later the enemy leader who put aside their differences then suddenly turns on him again, and he sells his humanity to get the power to fight the enemies and that of the two allies he has, one is corrupted by a misguided attempt to preserve the status quo and the other wants to get rid of humanity.

The resolve to move past Yuuya's death is not the same as the resolve for protecting the Beat Riders or the city or realizing that he'll never be human again or the resolve to try and save Micchi, despite him being a shitlord, or the resolve to finally kill Kaito.

I'm aware of that, yes. I like Gaim, I've liked every Rider since 2010 except Wizard.
My point was that Takeru hasn't been in nearly as many episodes where the resolution is that he finds the resolve to do the new thing, because Ghost isn't as heavy on radical changes in the scope of the narrative as Gaim was.
