A brain in a jar would probably be in a pretty good place for anti-aging, though: limited tissue variation, easy to monitor, won't get dragged down with the rest of the body as it fails, etc.
Much of the mental degeneration in old people is just the result of them not being able to sense or do shit properly for years. The brain in the jar would probably not have to suffer this.
