Does this get better? I am on episode 3 and it is really stupid. This Ken Asuka shit is specifically retarded and anti-American. Fuck Japan for trying to shoehorn themselves into history and devalue American achievements. Know your place.

In case this isn't bait, the second half of the show is pretty different, and while it isn't for everyone, I personally enjoyed it a lot more.
It gets better.
The action gets better, the music gets better, the interactions between characters stops being "Freak Out Mcgee and his enablers!", etc.
It took me until about episode 14 to like it. I started it and gave up on it twice before and then finally committed to it at a time when I was a bit under the weather.
YMMV.
