I just want a gundam where the lead is a mechanic from a small non affiliated colony that is piloting and feddie grunt mech and slowly upgrades it and outfights and outthinks people with a surprisingly powerful grunt suit.
He has newtype powers but it's not understandings and magical boy in a robot suit type stuff.
It's raw and gritty getting real gut feelings about situation, basic empathy that allows him to sense others feelings, and no when they are in trouble lying etc.
It also serves to torture him as he feels the horror fear pain loss of every person on a battlefield and feels everything his opponents feel up till their deaths in battle.
Newtype powers as a miraculous beautiful thing turned horrible curse that makes war a true hell for everyone in space and changes some to litteral monsters.
