Anyone else hyped for the final ep?
Let's go S2 announcement.
>>14042345
This series doesn't have another season in it.
I would like to see most of the characters and animation canabalzed and fit into a better show.
>>14042518
They've introduced too much in the last few eps for it to have an ending now.
>>14042536
welcome to anime
>>14042542
No I mean, literally in ep 11 they introduced two brand new characters that nobody's even interacted with yet.
>>14042549
We need more lardheart too.
>tfw everyone is best except for Russian Nii-san
Is S2 confirmed or what?
What the fuck was that ending?

「ブブキ・ブランキ」二期 COMING SOON!だよ!
S2 confirmed, breathe easy lads.
That was a cool ending, with his sister being revealed to be some manipulative sociopath and even the opening started to play, this season had a bunch of good shows, hope the next one is as good as this one
>Save your friend from terminal illness
>Lock her up for 8 years.
Migiwa could've just lock her up in that mansion but putting Reoko in that tiny cell is a bit too much.
Well that was a halfway mark.
>maybe we should try and settle down and figure out what we want the show to be
>NO JUST KEEP ON THROWING BURANKI AT STUFF, YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT
I'm also still blown away at how the show managed to have characters that start off blatantly antagonistic but end up being more like the sacrificial mentors to the main cast by the end.
>website hijacked by sister
What a bitch

Decent show will watch the S2
>killing off best team
dropped
>>14044997
They're "dead" but probably fine.
When will Reoko's suffer end?
>>14047050
When she is killed.
So yeah last thread I took a shot in the dark about the show thematically being "good intentions breed disastrous results" and I guess Reoko's backstory is the triumphant assertion of that.
I didn't even come into the show looking for a thematic thread and boom there it is.
As far as I am concerned, it's the best mecha I have seen in years.
Wasn't expecting anything at all but this show was quite interesting and different from the usual.
>>14042701
>everyone is best except for Russian Nii-san
Having just finished binge-watching the season, I can confirm this to be true. Fatass, left hand, and Reoko stand out even compared to how incredibly best everyone else was, though.
>>14047868
I was expecting something like that from the start, but I'm amazed at how well they pulled it off.
Reoko's original design(and seems when she didn't have a name yet, staff use "heroine" to call her)

>staff use "heroine" to call her
Oh wow, she would be a wrongly punished heroine in any other work, though I do like the one they ultimately went with
Have you ever befriended an American, /m/?
>>14057407
>>14057898
I AM an American.
So you can practice befriending Americans on me.
Well lads, just marathoned the show and it was bad in ways I have trouble describing, yet truly entertaining at the same time as it desperately hurried along to add more shit to the pile of unexplained stuff while resolving pretty much nothing at all. I look forward to the second season to see what exciting new lows we can reach.
Did Hiiragi ever stop being a fucking faggot 100% of the time? I dropped this because I got tired of his shit.
>>14060953
He sort of realized he was being a faggot, and actually ended up pretty decent.
>>14057898
>he isn't free
>>14061653
>>14043340
>start off blatantly antagonistic
The show did a lot of things that made it clear they weren't super obvious bad guys not far into the series. The fact that matobai never attempted to kill Kogane and would always point his gun towards migite made it super clear that there was more to Reoko's group than first appeared.
>>14063796
It could just as easily be interpreted as drawing out the act of torture. Take away their ability to fight, then take away their life.
Never even heard of this, but I've been out of the loop the past two seasons.
Sell me on this show in a way that doesn't involve girls. I am strictly mechasexual.
>>14063840
Main robot? He punches things and has a sword in his head.
>>14063840
Several groups of teenagers/adults with attitudes summon giant robot golems, cuhrayzee ensues.
Or: No More Heroes - party edition
>>14063840
Gigantic Formula, but considerably less ugly to look at and more interesting.
>>14063840
Big robot battles in weird magic, living machines that are formed out of also living weapons that teenagers with attitude hold.
Also:
Surprisingly layered and interesting antagonist too.
>>14063908
>Surprisingly layered and interesting antagonist too.
That goes for the cast as a whole, really. Almost everyone comes across as fairly archetypal to begin with, but the show develops them in interesting and often unexpected ways.
>>14063968
Too bad the story sucks and plot is awful.
Everything, litterally fucking EVERYTHING about this show is good except for that.
HOLY SHIT NIGGA WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!
>>14064020
idiots pls go
>>14064037
Dude, the basic plot and overall story are garbage. If this had a better plot and story it would be a fantastic chinese cartoon.
All of the characters, even the bit characters that popped up at the last second out of nowhere are interesting and compelling.
The battles are fun.
The animation is pleasing to the eye and flows well,
The voice acting is top notch.
The music and directing is fucking amazing.
It's all good.
It just feels like it's wasted on a bad plot and story.
>>14064078
The story is fine. If you feel the need to ask "what the fuck is going on," that's not the story's fault. At this point, I'd say it's done a good job of explaining itself.
