What are some anime in which the Moon is involved in some kind of meaningful way? Turn A Gundam's an obvious example, but what else?
Sailor Moon. Duh.

It's been more than ten years since I've watched and I have no interest in re-watching it, but I recall the moon being an important place for Kannazuki no Miko.

TTGL, the moon is actually a spaceship/giant robot.
But I'd be surprised if you haven't seen it already

Gundam X...kinda.
Greco...kinda, early on, if you count colonies around it.

In all of the main timeline Gundam, if something bad doesn't come from Jupiter, it's probably the moon's fault
Evangelion...sort of...

Is the moon out?
>>14041887
It's not really /m/, but the moon is important in Planetes. The show is set there for quite a few episodes, and whether humanity should continue colonizing the moon is examined to a non-trivial degree.

Thanks
MOON ATTACK
It will be the final boss of symphogear in season 4 or 5

The Moon is literally where everything starts and ends in that show, but it's only used for mysticism. There's nothing like people/robots exploring the surface or having battles there or living on a Moon base or colony, which is probably more what OP is looking for.

In Mospeada, the Third Invasion Fleet launches from a military installation on the Moon.

Gurren Lagann.

Gundam 0083
Zeta Gundam
