Only when he was in a grunt suit, and even then he gave a pretty damn respectable showing. When he got the X3 he absolutely wrecked shit.
And yes, the X3 was destroyed, but it was destroyed when Tobia sacrificed it in a gambit that single-handedly took down the main villain.

It's hard to believe that this is what OP says it is, but I'd like to see a Crossbone series that expands on the first manga. How about aquatic Jovian mobile suits, battling in the subterranean (subcryonic?) seas of Europa?
And could mobile suits fly in the upper atmosphere of Jupiter itself, without the pilots being killed by high gravity, if they were up high enough but still in the atmosphere?

For the record the text is thanking readers, and there's an interview with Hasegawa and announcement next month.
If there was a new anime being announced we would have heard about it Anime Japan in the last several hours. Instead there's a giant Gundam IBO and Gundam UC booth over there right now.
