Hi all, I posted a thread a few days ago about how I'm trying to give a panel of introductory shows for people to watch along the vein of "if you like ___, you might like ____". The issue is that while I've seen a handful of shows, I haven't seen everything, and can't really give pros and cons on stuff I haven't seen yet. If you guys could help me come up with pros/cons for a handful of shows, I'd really appreciate it. So far I have the following shows with nothing to really put down
Layzner
Giant Gorg
Xabungle (I know it's funny, but I don't know about any of its flaws)
Any other mecha suggested would be appreciated, I've already added Big O, UC Gundam, Turn A, AZ, NGE, Mazinkaiser, and pics related (which I could use help on).

Pros:
Elder god tier music
Amazing action
Only 6 episodes, so not hard to get into
Beautiful art style
English dub is actually pretty good
Believable characters
Canti has a nice design
Light-hearted
Haruko and Ninamori
Cons:
Can be a little risqué at times (there's a point in episode 4 that sounds exactly like a porno), so I wouldn't recommend playing it without headphones

Pros:
>art style and animation is good, very reminiscent of a modern animated super robot show from the 70's and 80s
>hot blooded action, easy to get hype to
>Pretty good selection of characters, with exception of a few shit tier characters
>good waifus
>The ambitiousness of the scale of the anime makes it just a dumb, fun ride
Cons
>Everybody will bully you on /m/ because they are hipsters
>Almost too predictable. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you can usually see what's coming from an episode to episode basis. Really don't hide much of anything

I know they mean the getter franchise, but even then just start with the fucking manga it's not hard.
Gunbuster
Pros:
>Excellent animation and physics
>Decent music (especially "Fly High")
>Did time dilation before Interstellar
>Likable characters
>Influenced many more Gainax shows and mecha anime in general
>Easy to get into
>Enemies that are a threat to humanity (for the first several episode)
>Enemy design makes them unique and interesting

>One of the best soundtracks in anime, also uses some tracks from Gunbuster
>Main characters are lovable, especially Nono and her bond with Lal'C
>Takes a lot of influence from FLCL and gives some influence for KLK (see Dix Neuf)
>Uses its amazing soundtrack to provide several highly emotional moments
>INAZUMA DOUBLE KIIIIIIIICK
>A bigger, better bittersweet, tear-jerking ending than Gunbuster
Cons:
>Can be a little over the top when compared to Gunbuster
>Side characters are mostly forgettable and irrelevant except in certain

Yes, I think I did.
As for the animation, the fight itself wasn't a big issue but it would've been nice to see a little more than a slideshow. What really came to mind was the transformation and how it was only 2 frames. But I guess you could really just call that cherrypicking.
