That's only the younger generation who aren't old enough to buy real cigarettes and choose candied flavors like bubbglegum.
The former smokers I know went to vaping because they could do it in more places than smoking, vaping is cheaper, and they don't have to burn through a whole cigarette if they just want a quick hit of nicotine. Vaping has its merits over smoking even though the science is still out on whether it's healthier than tobacco. Unfortunately, the type of people that surround vaping give it a negative image to outsiders.
