I like Grateful. Sure it doesn't look as good as Tajador or Kachidoki Arms but it manages to look like what All Dragon and Formula went for and got better results.

Also, this was kind of a shit buildup to Grateful. I was imagining Takeru learning to be thankful for the dead that brought him to this day and age. But instead, he gets scared because people are in capsules and some of them disintegrated, and it takes the whole gang to make him realize what wasn't even relevant to Makoto dying.

Wizard's midseason upgrade still stands the best because I felt actually hyped for Flame Dragon - Phoenix being an actual threat, that talk between Dragon and Haruto felt like it could go somewhere interesting, "Just the Beginning" kicking in and the dual sword wielding. Tajador and Fang Joker debut episodes were also good.

Kachidoki was 23, same as Grateful.
There's two general arcs for Riders of late: bunch of forms --> midseason --> final, or bunch of forms --> minor upgrade --> major upgrade --> final. The former is W with CHLJMT --> Fang --> Xtreme or Fourze with Base/Fire/Elec --> Magnet --> Cosmic, the latter is Wizard, Gaim, Drive and Ghost. Wizard is, of course, sort of an exception because All Dragon is such a budget hog they only used it twice.

There are still things we don't know, remember that the sage wanted to avoid been seen by kanon before.
Tho, i'm starting to feel we are gonna get a lot, and i mean A LOT of OOO style rewrites and unanswered questions.

I just want to know what Yurusen's deal is. Sage is an advisor to Ganma royalty, Adel usurped the throne, Alia knows Adel is up to shit and Alain basically got kicked out of the Ganma world is under threat of being executed at anytime if he doesn't watch his ass.
Then there's Yurusen, this funny little mascot. Does Yurusen have a physical body somewhere and her (his?) soul just took a really odd shape? Did Sage just CREATE Yurusen somehow? We literally never see her alongside Sage in the Ganma world. Are the Royal family even aware she exists?

Really, the ideas behind this little arc were nice but the execution was awful.
I didn't understand where Takeru was coming from at all. The Ganma were already doing atrocious things to humans (your friends too even) on top of breaking the law. Why is it NOW just thinking "Hey... these are BAD guys!"? Yeah, watching an innocent's body get cremated before your very eyes is bad, but is that really any worse than you have seen them commiting before, graphic imagery aside? Imean when those people's souls were taken away I would imagine their bodies would effectively be dead and start rotting.
I was alright with Takeru being so naively idealistic, but his heel turn and heel turn back was rushed and terriblly executed. He needed more episodes of that hate festering. Cut the possessed Specter episodes to spend time building in more interesting character development.

Up until now there haven't been any permanent or visceral consequences of the Ganma's actions aside from that guy who died to make Billy the Kid, which Takeru never saw. Everyone who had their souls yanked out got them back within a few minutes with no harm done. Hell, Takeru didn't even see himself die. The capsule thing was a massive shock by comparison, especially after Alain had bragged about the Ganma world being perfect and Kanon had agreed.
I'm a pretty chill guy 99% of the time, but there've been times in my life that I panicked way worse than Takeru does over way less.

Personally, I am thinking she isAlain's mom.Or at least a fragment of her taken from residual spirit energy that remained after death or some shit like that. So she is in the dark about everything. She was the silly wife to the serious Adonis who died which lead Adonis to basically lose it and start research into eternal life. Since she died before he could achieve artificial ghosthood, Yurusen was the best they could do for now.
Essebtially Yurusen is the nest step in that research: recreating life of already dead people. Could explain why the heroic eyecons were necessary.

This episode would've been fine if Takeru's inner conflict was properly resolved. The monologue that was meant to show his resolve said nothing about him overcoming his fear, which is what was stated to be what got in Takeru's mood. This entire episode is pretty weird. Takeru's actions from the last episode didn't seem to carry over, both Kanon and Takeru showed pretty lackluster reactions to Makoto's death, etc.
I have a feeling this episode had a different writer or director. Next episode also seems to go back to how things were before this episode.
