In seriousness, even though vaporwave (in its most basic forms) is by no means particularly unique or requiring excessive amounts of skill to create, it's pretty nice to listen to.And of course, A E S T H E T I C posting is always fun.
The Japanese funk and jazz fusion that vaporwave often samples is much, MUCH better on it's own. It's kind of obnoxious that good stuff like this gets reduced to silly samples.

I genuinely like the a e s t h e t i c. Greco-Roman statues, dilapidated buildings, 8 and 16 bit video game material, all the glitch art. Vaporwave, synthwave, future funk, chillwave, etc. Not everything but in general, I just love it.

Policenauts is /m/ and has a soundtrack that while isnt vaporwave would fit a very nu-80's vibe to it. I think there's an indie game coming out soon that's supposed to have a soundtrack similar to it aswell but for the life of me I cant remember.
