Only Virtue had armor purging. Seravee's alternate form was the backpack being detachable and forming the disguised Seraphim Gundam, it was a modular transformation. Raphael Gundam switched it around so that the smaller suit was the main machine and the modular equipment was the hidden Seravee II, but it was still a modular transformation and didn't involve armor purging.

I don't recall Ali having that at all. The closest thing he had was the Agrissa, but abandoning the Agrissa made him weaker but smaller and faster.
