Yeah, I was on that whole Crossbone is never getting animated kick for a long time because all the Gundams have gotten made multiple times already. But with Thunderbolt getting animated and Unicorn getting a damn series I can see Crossbone happening. Sunrise is making each Gundam series these days around 25 episodes so I could see them experiment with a ton of stuff. They have no issue making OVA out the ass either. Gundam has never been this active on the animated front.

F91 is just a single movie, no reason not to watch it.
Despite the shit people say about Hasegawa's artstyle, he is VERY good at drawing action scenes. Some of the fights in the Crossbone manga are even visually more dynamic than animated works.
Would be amazing if Hasegawa worked as a storyboard artist.

Crossbone is like any LN. People MASSIVELY circle jerk over it, oh man, it's so good, it's the best Gundam, I love it so much.

The designs are nice, but what actually makes Crossbone stand out from the rest of Gundam is that it's willing to have fun with itself from time to time. Most of the franchise takes itself far too seriously, and Crossbone is a nice change of pace from that.
Also, the action choreography is great (at least to the extent that a manga can be considered to have "choreography"). In particular, it's on par with Victory in terms of pilots being resourceful and applying their suits' equipment and capabilities in creative ways, which I appreciate.

The main reason why We won't get a Crossbone Gundam Anime is because of the popularity of Zeon override the popularity of the series itself. We get Thunderbolt because it got Zeon in it. Also Astray got animated because of Gundam Seed 's Popularity.
What I'm trying to say is that no-one give a fuck about late UC, and therefore there's no reason to animate Crossbone since it's Late UC the manga.

There's already kits in a few grades for the Crossbone Gundams in various iterations.
None of the other suits have shown much indication of having particularly strong followings.
Especially to justify the amount of different molding and engineering many of them would call for.

F91 is completely separate from Crossbone in tone. It'd be like merging First Gundam and Zeta into one series. (Well, I suppose there's the first and second halves of ZZ, so it's not without precedent... but at least ZZ occurs within the span of a year.)
I think Crossbone would fit a two-cour series. And I'd welcome an expanded story. Especially since the Jupiter Sphere is such a new environment, and the Vanguard begins its journey to Earth so soon in the story. I'd like a little filler where the Vanguard engages in some ops on Europa and the other moons other than Io. Or a look at the actual operations of the Jupiter Energy Fleet itself. What does it actually look like, collecting gas from Jupiter?

CV needed a high-mobility melee unit for their guerilla tactics but Jupiter's high gravity made it difficult to design such a unit without bulking it up with powerful verniers spread all over the body of the unit. SNRI resolved this giving crossbone 4 large, flexible main thrusters spread out in a cross-shape.
This and the reasoning for other seemingly gimmicky things is explained in the technical section attached to the end of each volume in the manga. Things like the face-open, the ABC cloak, why a fuckhuge beam-sword, the silly-looking zondo gei, etc.

Normal mobile suits have small maneuvering thrusters all over the body, but the Crossbones are designed to operate near Jupiter instead of near Earth.
Gravity is much higher so instead of having to make all the thrusters in the main body bigger, the made them into a separate variable position thruster unit. Them being variable also means they can deploy in a booster mode for speed or breaking gravity, so no external booster is ever needed.
