Unpopular opinions threadI actually really like "Teknoman". Not as good as uncut Tekkaman Blade but I think the dub holds up fairly well with good voice acting and excellent music. The only major problems I have with it are D-Boy and Evil's backstory episode being dropped for no reason and Levin's relative lack of development thanks to the gender change.
Dubs are for little children and people who can't read. Original audio is always best audio, not just for anime/Japanese stuff, but for everything.

Brain Powered is in my top ten mecha series.
I enjoyed Gundam 00 Season 2 more than the first season.
I never saw the appeal of Gurren Lagann.

That's quite an absolute statement there. While original audio is going to sound better 99% of the time because Japan actually has a large, thriving voice acting industry, there are a few dubs that surpass the original. Personally I believe that if you could have a dub of comparable quality to the original audio then it's 100% fine to watch because you can pick up much more of the subtleties in your native tongue than a foreign language (which is full of overacting anyway, it's for kids' cartoons you autist). However in practice that almost never happens because the anime dubbing scene is shit.
Personally I think it would be a thousand times easier to just hire normal cartoon voices and just have them not use their lolcartoonnetworksorandum voice because they clearly have the range and expression for it, with good direction I think that giving a more subtle and realistic performance would be possible from any American VA. Anime dubbers are generally pretty mediocre, especially Funimation's "talent" pool, you just have to hope for a good actor or three to save your cast.

I think Expelled from Paradise is a criminally underrated movie.
I liked 00 in its entirety and cannot see it as separate parts.

That was another thing that bothered me. F91 is supposed to be the fastest Gundam mobile suit, yet the sense of speed wasn't brought up till the end of the movie, even then it came across as New Type magic more than anything.
I don't like Macross Plus.
I love the dogfighting and animation as one naturally should, but I pretty much hate everything else about it. When I went into it, despite its reputation as a high-class OVA, I'd heard very little about the plot. I only knew that it had beautiful dogfights and some yandere computer. And after I realized the reason those were the only things I heard about Plus because those are the only things worth remembering about it. Everything else is forgettable or completely annoying
Also, Kamen Rider Blade is like a top 3 Rider series

In Neon Genesis Evangelion I preferred the more episodic goofy, monster of the day episodes. I also loved the two last episodes; I really didn't care that much for a conventional ending for the series because I didn't care that much, but those two last episodes are very good in a creative artistic way, in my opinion.

I think the incidental music and voice casting of a show is far more important than the general animation.
While I can see reasons why someone would watch dubbed ... anything really, not just anime, I feel the original language of a program tends to be more thought out and well balanced.
The director of a film or show would attempt to put care and planning into who is cast into what, whereas foreign dubbing tends to overlook such things.
