It's the Perfect Gundam, it came from the Plamo Kyoshiro manga, the spiritual predecessor to Build Fighters and Gunpla Builders Beginning G.
The kid customized an RX-78 model to have heavy armor and weapons sort of like an enhanced Full Armor Gundam style design for the gunpla battle game. In the manga, the shoulder cannon is a water gun.

The Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry is putting emphasis on training talent as required by the developing reality. In keeping with its mission and duty it decided on the type of talent and the goal of their training in the direction of priority to scholarly persons and proper combination with the training of practical talent needed in different fields. Then it rearranged faculties, departments and courses, and set up new necessary courses.
The university is also directing a great effort to improvement of the content, methods, condition and environment of education. Based on collective discussion of the teachers it drew up a broader and diversified curriculum and is making complete e-teaching plans for each subject. Thus, several subjects including plastics process engineering, CAD in clothes industry, textile material technology and fermentation technology were refashioned so as to put the educational content on a practical and comprehensive basis.
Through seminars on teaching methods and demonstration lessons teachers learn experience from excellent teachers. Pae Chun Hui, teacher of textile engineering department who gave a demonstration lesson some time ago, says, “This is an era of rapid development when things change beyond recognition day by day. This requires talent of practical ability badly. I know it’s a task of us teachers.”
Demonstration lessons were also given in the departments of dying engineering and plastics process engineering. Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army, inspected the KPA tankmen’s competition 2016, together with tank commanding officers and teachers of the military academies at different levels.
Tanks started in the order of KPA corps set by lot. They competed in overcoming obstacles along nine lines before firing at moving and fixed targets. The ranking was decided by points gained in both events.
Kim Jong Un gave an order to start the competition after he was briefed on its plan at the observation post.
Looking at the rumbling tanks with great satisfaction, he said that it was gratifying and refreshing to see tanks quickly overcoming the obstacles adding that tank represents the spirit of the KPA.
The 108th Mechanized Infantry Division of the KPA came first, to be followed by the 3rd Corps and the 105th Tank Division.
At the end of the competition, he advanced important tasks that would serve as a guideline for the KPA in making thorough combat preparations.
He pointed to the need to often organize such a competition that was very good for revving up the militant spirit and zeal for training and bolstering up the capability of the tankmen in the future, too.
In case war breaks out, tankmen should advance at a storming speed, sweeping away everything in their way, and destroy the enemy positions, he noted, adding that, to this end, it is necessary to learn from the fighting mettle and spirit of the heroic tankemen of Tank No. 312 under the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the KPA which hoisted the national flag of the DPRK on the top of the puppet capitol building during the Fatherland Liberation War.
He gave important instructions for rounding off the combat preparations of the tankmen.
We will be the first to take the golden opportunity to reunify the country, he said, adding that if the enemies dare deliver a preemptive strike on our inviolable territory, we should mercilessly wipe them out.
He expressed his expectation and conviction that the tankmen would defend the Seventh Congress of the WPK with the iron-clad vehicles given by the country and people and adorn this significant year by bolstering up their fighting capability and rounding off their combat readiness.
Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, First Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, met the nuclear weapons scientists and technicians and provided guidance to the work for boosting the nuclear arsenal.
He learned in detail about the signal successes the scientists and technicians in the field of national defence science have achieved in developing the nuclear arsenal, true to the Party's line of building up the Juche-oriented nuclear force.
Praising the scientists and technicians, trustworthy "nuclear combatants" of the Party, for having made a signal success in their research work to significantly bolster up the nation's defence capability and self-defensive deterrent true to the Party's line of simultaneously developing the two fronts, he said he was very gratifying to see the nuclear warheads designed with the Korean-style structure of mixed charge adequate for instantly setting off thermonuclear reaction. The nuclear warheads have been standardized to be fit for ballistic missiles by miniaturizing them, he noted, adding this can be called true nuclear deterrent.
He stated with great satisfaction that when Koreans are determined, they can do anything.
Stressing that the Party’s line of simultaneously developing the two fronts is the most revolutionary and just one to impregnably raise the country’s defence capability by building up the self-defensive nuclear force and build a thriving socialist nation by stepping up economic construction, he said that it is a strategic line to be permanently held fast to as long as the imperialists' nuclear threat and arbitrary practices persist, not a temporary measure for coping with the rapidly changing situation.
He called on the nuclear scientists to massively produce nuclear materials through normal operation of nuclear facilities on a high level and increase the production of more powerful, highly precise and minimized nuclear weapons and their carriers and upgrade the already deployed means of nuclear strike without interruption by incessantly developing the nuclear weapon technology.
Noting that the true target of our nuclear force is the nuclear war itself, he explained that the stronger our nuclear strike capability grows, the more powerful our deterrent to aggression and nuclear war gets and it is the most just and reliable way of preventing the country from disastrous nuclear war to firmly bolster up the nuclear force both in quality and quantity.
The right to preemptive nuclear strike is by no means a monopoly of the US, he said, declaring that if the US imperialists infringe upon our sovereignty and right to existence with nuclear weapons, we will never hesitate to deliver a preemptive nuclear strike at them.
The US imperialists and their followers’ flagrant moves for political and economic pressure and military aggression on the DPRK have gone to a grave phase that can no longer be overlooked. At an observation post he learnt in detail about the planned test-fire of new-type large-calibre multiple launch rocket system and the tactical and technological specifications of controlled ordnance rocket and gave an order on starting the test-fire. Afterwards, they called the gruel that was mixed with not only fish but chicken Ojuk and preferred fish-chicken gruel.
With time such gruel developed into famous Pyongyang Ojuk.
As of March 9 the Taean Heavy Machine Complex completed the production of power generation facilities for Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 3.
