HELLO /m/ CITY!
With Winter now wrapped up it's time to look towards spring and things are being shook up at /m/ HQ but we'll circle back to that.
Sometime this month, the Tag Team Cup will be returning. Now last time, /m/ partnered up with the Winter Cup runner-ups, /u/ and together we placed 3rd and took the Golden Boot. However, some /m/en were less than thrilled with the idea of teaming with /u/. So this year, we're letting the board decide. I know a lot of you wanted /tg/ so we've automatically have them in consideration as with /u/, but if there's anyone else, let us know.
Also, with Spring happening in June, and /m/ having been off since November of last year, it might be time to spruce the team up some. Make all suggestions for new players here. Now for those of you worrying about tactics need not to worry, we've been working on tactics since the transition to PES 16 and had moderate success in the Winter Friendlies.
So let's get back into gear folks!

First off, furries are subhuman, that's a fact. Secondly, /m/ (although it seems that way most of the time) isn't the board for 0079. It's not even the board for UC, or Gundam in general. It's mecha, a genre that's fairly wide on its own, but we also include a smattering of general 80s anime, games with /m/ elements, tokushit and super sentards, powered armor, spaceships, and more. It is diverse and has a long history dating back to the earliest science fiction, booming in the 70s-80s, but continuing strongly today. We can be autistic about who could have been a mother to whom or real vs super but I like to think this place isn't an echo chamber. I like flatter genki girls and am more of a real robot guy. For every hundred like me there are another hundred opposite of me and two hundred in between, and that'll happen for every opinion you can imagine. We try to make original content when we can; in fact we have a karate bugman game, Mechamon game, and /m/vn threads in the catalogue. We shitpost a lot, especially about Gundam (not justified by the quality of an entry, no matter how shitty IBO is) but we're here because we have a passion.
/mlp/ is an entire board dedicated to a single show that had 4-5 seasons if I last heard baby sister right plus a movie. I think it started 2010, 2008 at the very earliest. It is literally a containment board because the people on it could not stop posting ponies everywhere. It's like if we all only watched 0079 and the movie trilogy and spent hours a day inside an echo chamber about it, reposting the same deviantart or tumblr pictures day in and day out. Nothing but Amuro on the White Base for years. And yet, being so dedicated that you can create content, only ever trying to imitate Yas' style, making the same memes about QUALITY Gundam, every day. And multiply all of it by furries.

In regards to the players, the roster is pretty good as it is. Maybe Gundam Barbatos in place of G-Self just to go with the current Gundam series and replace RX-78-2 with any of Char's mecha. I was also thinking replacing the spot for a Kamen Rider for one of the few giant robots in Metal Heroes just for one time.

I think we should limit the number of fantasy mechs we add to the roster, since a lot of them aren't necessarily /tg/-relevant. The mech from Rayearth should definitely be on the roster though, since I remember hearing that it was based off of a D&D campaign like Record of Lodoss War was.

I think having the same kit makes /m/ unique and provides the team identity.

Just a heads up - I think the belt will only appear with the untucked jersey. You might need to tinker with it a bit and move the belt up to be visible in both ways.
