I wish more emphasis was put into the struggle between him and his father. Both are trying to take Gjallerhorn by storm. If there was actually a question of who would end up with power I'd be excited and this would be a nice subplot, figuring out whose connections and keikakus will prove to be worth more in the end. McChar has the force and Kudelia behind him but McDad has some serious political pull.
