I'm sure the action would be better and they could cast a woman who actually looks the part, but I wouldn't trust them to get any other aspect of it right, such as the correct amount and type of humor and lewdness. In fact, an American production in this day and age would likely attempt to neuter the sexualization of Honey, which would be missing the whole point.

I'm more worried about the TEARS subtitle. I hope this isn't some kind of darker and edgier reimagining. Nothing wrong with that, I even liked The Live, but that can easily turn very, very wrong.
