Not really. For the longest time, subbing the franchise in general was doomed to failure until the last few years, but folks like MCS (with the aid of H-S and KouAidou), Chirlind and Silver Castle Subs are remedying that, so it's only a matter of time.
Dagwon and crab-free Might Gaine are the only two not in progress now, right?

I think Exkaiser and his various designs are pretty damn cool, but it's a shame the show, when they aren't fighting the Geisters is kinda eh.
It doesn't help that most of the MotD robots are really dumb looking.
But that's what I get for watching a 26 year old show for children.

To be fair, it's the earliest entry in the franchise, which usually means that there really isn't anything too engrossing or creative. Plus it doesn't help that Yatabe favored the humans more, characterization-wise, or that it's a Transformers entry with a paint job and serial numbers filed off.
Overall, it's the Goranger of the Brave Series.

You like the story arc bits of GGG's second half? Watch Da Garn, that show has plot progression every single episode. Most story driven MOTW show I've ever seen.

No, I mean in the sense that it's the first and least advanced entry. It doesn't introduce anything really noteworthy, like ongoing plots (Da Garn), detailed robot characterizations (J-Decker) or even clusterfuck combinations (Might Gaine). Famous, but hasn't aged too well, although its final duel with Dino Geist is notorious to some degree.
I sure wish it had an animated crossover with one or more of the later series though (granted, Sokuta does make a cameo in Fighbird).

"They" in this case means only one person, namely a very controversial GGG fan calling himself Clawshrimpy. People who know him better than me say that what he posted about the last episode of Dagwon indicates he most likely won't do any more episodes. Though he mentioned on his Twitter once that he wants to continue it, but it was like, a month after his last release? Then again, I haven't checked his Twitter for some time, look there if you dare. He was only redoing already subbed episodes anyway.

So I've found what I assume are knockoff Braves toys at the local Tuesday Morning. One was this gold mechagodzilla looking thing with half a car shoved in its chest. The other was a steam engine with a respectable amount of gun. What am I looking at here?

It's not any better with J-Decker.
He transforms into a car and bends and plugs into the rest of his equipment, and somehow his head still ends up at the top of the torso.
I'm not a fan of the "plug in" combination, but in most cases, I don't mind it. But I think J-Decker('s design) is incredibly boring.
