As bad as Fallout 4 is as a Fallout game, I really like what they did with the power armor. It actually feels like a powerful piece of technology, rather than an armored piece of clothing. The fusion cores running out so quickly is bullshit, though.
Also, T-51 is best power armor.

I do want a good Midwest BoS armor one day. (Ever since FNV mentioned ED-E's planned stopover at an Enclave Chicago base I've imagined that the Midwest BoS found it empty and started using it to make new ppower armor, hence the armor looking like something halfway between East and West coast Enclave Power Armor.

This is just my opinion, but I dislike full body power armor in itself no mater what the context. The range of motion is extremely limited because you need to fit inside it and the joints couldn't move very well because it needs to accommodate our joints, so on and so on.
Samus has the only one that I actually like.
