In terms of relevance the main plot focuses around these 3 Sacred Treasures, IIRC Bruvictor posseses the Treasure of Power, Falsaber posseses Spirit and Yuki is part of a lineage that has the Treasure of Life. Together they're supposed to be like primordial elements that are the basis of the creation of all life and form Glitter Falsaber who is pretty much a interdimensional caretaker.
Youta's declaration of impregnating Yuki is his sperge way of saying he'll make sure the Treasure of Life continues to be passed down so there will always be someone to watch over the evolution of the world.

This is actually Youta's plot in a nutshell it is actually his personality to be a generic bland character.
Falsaber won't let Yuki pilot because dad complex and all. But Youta has the creativity of a wet rock which goes terribly when pilotting a robot powered by IMAGINATION.
Is Kyosuke really that popular in japan? He and/or alteisen are fucking everywhere OG related and its a miracle he didn't find his way into endless frontier or project x zone.

I'm playing III right now and its pretty sick how a maxed out unit guarding all the time gets hit for 1500-2000 guarding by generic grunts and is gangbanged until being destroyed. And if I actually counterattacked during the enemy phase, they would get destroyed in a few attacks.
Ironically, bosses so far were easier than generic enemies, at least for a few of them you can exhaust their prana so they can only use weak attacks and until then make one unit tank their attacks.

That reminds me how much of a dick move is that most of time, its the enemy the ones who starts upstairs, and the one time you have the higher ground, there's a demon type creating machine at the bottom and if you don't rush to reduce their numbers, you risk being overwhelmed by lots of grunts. Good thing it only spawned enemies every two turns and from the four type of demons it could create, two were garbage, one hit so-so and only one dealt dangerous damage.

That's a grinding stage if I remember correctly, the part point is even for you to kill so many golems that the machine explodes.
Hell that stage has stairs but the better grinding spot is the cliff in front of the machine.

Pretty much every SRPG with height and positioning makes the player's starting position a disadvantage. Tactics Ogre goes so completely-overboard with it in most cases that it'd be a parody if it wasn't such an old game.

If they decide to update (not slightly touch up or an hd redraw of the same sprite) the sprites from OGs, and OG Gaiden, they'd be more in line with Z3/2nd OG unit sprites.
Seriously, the only redraws that benefitted immensely from the jump to 2nd OG were the Valsione, and Soulgain. The only other units that looked better had their entire sprites altered.

That's the stage where Saphine joins for the first time,I remember it clearly.
I had to restart it 2 times because one golem near the generator didn't move on time and blocked an wave of enemies.
That one stage in cave with killing one Golden Golem per turn was more fun.
