Do you ever feel like the "classic" Gundam head clashes with the designs of the bodies sometimes? Don't get me wrong, something like this is far from the worst example, but more could have been done to fit the head with the racecar aesthetic. Zanscare suits suits are comprised mostly of round shapes, and the heads, some of which look like they could work as Gundam heads, are made of similar shapes. Our friend Victory 2 here is made mostly of beveled polygons, particularly triangles, and the head... Looks like the RX-78-2. I know there are minor differences in the contours of the helmet and the v-fin, bu it's nowhere near as big of a difference as that of the the RX-78 and Zeta. The Zeta is a very good example of what I'm talking about in having the head follow the aesthetic of the body. The body is made mostly of sharp triangles and trapezoids, and the head is made of the same kinds of shapes. Again, the Victory 2 isn't the worst example of what I'm talking about. The worst example would probably be something like Double Zeta.

This may be the longest way to say ZZ isn't canon as its titular MS is absolutely incompatible with UC design philosophy. Nice one OP.

My fellow American!
The V2's head fits well with the rest of the body. The v fun is angular like the chest and the head rounded like the legs.

So basically you just want the Victory Second animated in place of V2?
Since ZZ's head is as classic as its body and even concept it. It's essentially the classic Gundam, powered up. You're not making any sense.
Agree completely with you OP, V2 always looked off to me, what you described is the reason why

I've had this feeling about many gundam designs,I feel the V2's isn't that bad because minor changes could fix that, but stuff like the ZZ,F91 and other early UC suits need a bit more work
>>13896597
Turn A could go on V2's body pretty well

Round, yes. Circular, no. The head has a primarily circular silhouette and construction. As I said, the body is constructed of shapes like triangles and trapezoids which are rounded off and streamlined. If a few shapes of the head were elongated, replaced, or removed, everything would mesh smoothly.

F91 is particularly bad about the RX-78 head being tacked on. I'm not sure if it's as bad as ZZ, and they're both guilty for different reasons. While F91 aims for the look of a street bike and the head doesn't complement that aesthetic at all, ZZ is just a complete mess with seemingly no aesthetic whatsoever.

I didn't until now. Thanks OP.
do you even lift
Can you truly call it a gundam if it doesn't invoke the samurai in some way?
>>13897443
Hi there.
>>13897448
Turn A invokes the samurai pretty heavily.
It has a top knot for fuck's sake.
>>13897448
That's no Gunda, boy. No Gundam!
>>13897448
What the fuck were they thinking with this?
>>13897448
what's it like being retarded?
>racecar aesthetic
Is this a meme or am I just seeing OP being an autistic retard a lot.
