I like Mikimoto better
I like Mikimoto's designs more, but Yas has a more charming style.
In art and in directing, YAS is pretty much the same guy he was 30 years ago

I like both, but prefer Mikimoto by a wide margin.
Hate to resort to the tired sameface criticism, but Mikimoto definitely provides the more memorable/distinctive character designs. Both are fantastic artists though.

And while people complain about Mikimoto's modern work, I still think it has a lot of charm to it. It's still visibly his style, same as how Yas has kept his.
It's a shame you can't say the same of Kitazume, who seems to have forgotten how to draw different characters or facial expression.
