Zoids chaotic Century +Guardian force are great. This is a war story.
New Century Zero is also great. This is zoids beating the hell out of each other in a competition.
Fuzors sucks, it tried to do what New Century Zero did and failed.
Genesis is alright, but suffers from a severe lack of actual zoids in the show.

I have this weird kind of Nostalgia about ZOIDs despite never remembering watching it. It's mostly over the mecha themselves. Not sure why. My tastes/moods change a lot. dub is pretty good considering, its the company that did the G Gundam dub. and there isn't any subs of this series (I've looked all over.)
while its a dub it did get some edits for tv, nothing crazy just lowered the language and edited out blood. only one scene is really hurt by editing imo and that was Reese's past.

Yes. Chaotic Century is the most solid in terms lf everything. New Century is just nice fun. Fuzors is trash, so skip it. Genesis is decent but it just feels dull and boring from time to time so you may want to skip through it a bit.

Honestly, I think it's just that gunpla are cheap as hell compared to most model kits (the 1/144 and 1/100 models, anyway).
Zoids can get really expensive, though. Probably because nobody cares anymore so they're collector's items now.

The problem with TV-N is that even when their translation happens to be decent, they suck at encoding so you end up with a file that's fucking huge yet has terrible visual quality. They're just all around bad at their job and only get any recognition because they subbed a lot of stuff nobody else did.

Chaotic Century was good because Van actually lost battles and when he lost, it took a while for him to recover because of how damaging it was. Guardian Force did ratchet up the expendable cannon fodder for both sides though.
Contrast that to Zero where Bit just gets knocked once and not much changes.

The scene when the Berserk Fury/Panzer destroy the Judge Satellite was probably the best sequence in either series.

Van is a lucky man.
Zoids Chaotic Century's premise and characters are pretty standard-issue at the face, but the show makes them interesting and they have real development over it's course. It's been a while but as I can recall there's almost no filler or dragging episodes, which is great because it's 2 seasons/67 episodes.
I think Zero is a technically & creatively a better show and more interesting overall, but that's no surprise because it was made after CC. It also trades more of the drama for comedy compared to CC and has a much more light-hearted vibe overall, weather this is a positive or a negative is up to the viewer.
I haven't seen the other two but I heard Fuzors was underwhelming.

Wings of Rean is about as in continuity to Dunbine as the Zoids series are in continuity to each other - there's similar notes that bind them all, but they're not exactly sequels or anything. (Except MAYBE Fuzors to Genesis. That implies all of Fuzors was destroyed in a firey explosion, which I am party to.)

Watching the unedited dub for the first time. Amazing how many scenes were cut, even if they understandable due to the standards and practices. Knew about certain ones like the shower scene, the drunks and Reese's past. But noticed they cut out a lot of Thomas's and Karl's conversation at the base Reese controlled and showing that Thomas could do things without BEEK. I guess they didn't have any budget to digitally wipe away blood.

It's not what you think, it's just the original sub version, but with the dubbed audio included, and if there's a scene that was cut in the dubbed version, it switches to the original Japanese audio for it. The only down side is it looks like the subs were based off the dub so a majority of the cut scenes go unsubbed.
