An Armoured Core anime.
Not necessarily AC4 either. I remember having lots of fun times with AC3 on the PS1 back in the day.
Why hasn't an anime been made yet of this awesome series?

I'd prefer an AC4, Phantasma, or Nexus/Last Raven era one because all the other ACs are too bleak and mainly character-interaction less for that

Well to be fair, none of the series tells their story properly. You mostly just get thrown down there, blow up stuff and gets to fight other AC most of the time wtihout much explanation.
I imagine From has been approached multiple times on this matter, my guess is that they just aren't interested.

You have to piece the story together yourself by reading everything and paying attention to all the details, pretty much the same as in all their games.
