Variable Gear

The newest weapon in fighting the Nova. In response to the Tactical Suit's lack of sufficient armor and the Tactical Gear's lack of maneuverability, a new weapon was needed. The result was a Tactical Gear that has three modes. One is the mode based on the vehicle it is built after. For Variable Gears based on jet fighters, this is called “Gear Fighter” mode. Another mode is called “Gear Suit” mode, which is a necessity for close quarters combat. For Variable Gears based on jet fighters, there is a halfway transformation mode. This mode is called “Gear Diver” mode, and it is best suited for quick time requirements in battle.

Pic is that of the titular Variable Gear, the Gungel, in Gear Fighter Mode.

Gerwalk doesn't look nearly as good backwards.

Other than that it's the same thing as a Variable Fighter, which sure, if that's the style of mech you want to use then that's fine.

never is enough mecha.
keep going, /m/en...

Your "Suit" mode is squat enough that you don't really need a "Diver" mode, plus it's a bad idea to add weight with the the third leg in diver mode that is not used in the other modes. Every part should serve a role in all modes.
Aside from that, I like your little Valkyrie/Corefighter love child.

If you're referring to >>13850261, then the "third leg" is basically there as landing gear. It's folded in when in Gear Fighter Mode and Gear Suit Mode.

Also, it's there because it couldn't stand properly in Gear Diver Mode.

Also, apologize for double-posting, but forgot to mention these:

1. The Gungel is based on the F-15.

2. "Gungel" is a combination of "Gun" + "Angel".

3. Missiles, which are backpack-sized, yet are created to contain a fair amount of yield, come out of the limbs, like the titular mecha of Orguss and the Legiosses and TLEADs from MOSPEADA.
