I loved Gundam Unicorn, and want Sunrise more Gundam (or other mech) series in the same vein. But this is not what I wanted. That said, this could still turn out good. They could refine the story by removing or rewriting some of the poorer parts and/or adding new scenes. But I don't have much hope for the TV being better than the OVA. Sunrise probably just wants to make more money off a successful title with the least amount of work possible.

It looks like Oldsmobile's last gasp was in the Formula Senki SNES game, UC 0122, after the F90 events. But in UC 0123, there are some sad people living in a Side 3 shoal zone, the Zebra Zone, who seem to count as Neo Zeon remnants, and one of them fights against the EF. (See Silhouette Formula.) Then you have Zeon mobile suits showing up in Almarya, a side story to Double-Fake, the side story apparently taking place in UC 0179, but I have no way of knowing that's true. Then there's Zi Zeon of Gaia Gear, which I wouldn't even consider a Zeon movement.
What's that? Canon? Non-canon? Never heard of either.
Also, I'm not sure if Oldsmobile counts as a Neo Zeon movement anymore than the Delaz Fleet does.

Actually, I've seen a rumor that Kenneth Sleg from Hathaway's Flash is involved in the Vanguard's creation, so the Vanguard would be modeled after Mufty or however you transliterate it. As for Loum, if we go by what was animated in the main timeline. aka MS IGLOO. The colony drop operation was a faint to lure the Federation fleets from Luna II and the battle started well away from the colonies. Which can only mean that as the battle turned against the Federation, the turned towards the colonies to use them as shields to cover their escape which caused Loum to be destroyed in the crossfire. So it's the Federation's fault Loum was a destroyed.
