You are missing the point. An episode breather would be fine. After a large battle a small break in the action would be cool and it could be used to advance the plot and develop the characters. IBO has shit plot, shit characters and shit fights. The battles we have gotten are essentially slideshows and never large. The plot isn't good or very well developed so taking 3 whole episodes off from fighting to try and advance it is stupid. How far as the plot advanced in these 3 episodes? Not very. We just spent a whole episode about a character they killed off. Fumitan should have been developed over multiple episodes. Instead they shove her motives into the last leg of the show and expect people to care. Most of the characters have literally been standing around this whole arc. The cast is so big that they could never get everybody enough screentime. Harem master and his bitches are useless. They don't do shit.

All I remember was that Bright was in it. It was many years ago, and obviously a bored kid wasn't going to remember any details.
ZZ was an example of world building. It explored multiple colonies and various parts of Earth. Unlike 90% of mech shows they actually went to Africa instead of just Japan, Europe and America. I always thought that was nice. What was even nicer was that there were black pilots in Africa. IBO's Africa branch literally was all blond haired white guys when they were shown.

But that works so much better because of how it all links up nicely. The elevator gets the batteries which is a prime source of energy. Aida at the start is concerned out this monopoly, as does her country. The tower supplying stuff is used to enforce Su-Cordism by the ability to cut people off from power. This is from the top enforced by the moonrace who mediate the batteries travel which gave them power over the earth but wish to come down to earth which would completely change the tower supply system. And then at the very top there is the Venus Globe who are the ones to enforce this system for real, but through their isolation some think they do not deserve it assuming humans are the same as they were hundreds of years ago.
On one point all of them link up nicely and form a core part of the story, it makes it feel real. IBO doesn't do this and the little of what we have learnt in IBO is just stuff we were told and it is left at that. Worse some bits end up end up feeling lazy logically. Kudelia is a prominent figure of a independence movement and a moron with no self confidence. How did they get Barbatos and why were they just using such a thing as a generator? because. What information did the revolutionaries actually get on Kudelia as some seem able to recognise her while others have zero idea? they just did.
IBO has a very bare back bone of a story that just about caries it, it does not feel fleshed out of living

I was also going to add that BF is cheaper to make, but I'm really not sure. IBO is being pushed so hard you'd think it would have a good budget but it looks awful a good amount of time and has barely any fights. I know money =/= quality but a good budget has got to help in some regard
But BF's gunpla was cheaper as it partly used old parts and some of the new stuff was used in later kits. IBO tried to do the shared frame stuff etc but it just didn't work with the designs, even from Guison to rebake it is all different parts

How? Char has done fuck all but look talk to a loli and give suspicious looks. Biscuit and Guts had secret brothers both come out of no where just after the character mentions them for the first time, then these brothers both turn out to be evil and then when reasoned with both go crazy. Gut's was especially bad as all he did was repeat muh debris despite us never seeing him treated worse than the rest at CGS, even the characters were sick of him doing it.
