These are already named for the 1080 EG release, however there's a couple of episodes where you need to rename .ass files, I forgot which ones.

Either way, just make sure the .ass files match the mkv file name and it'll be fine.

That's one way of judging subs, but do note that RX78-2 didn't bother to clean up/correct the translations for the second part of Turn A and is based off the old Hero Legends ones IIRC albeit edited here and there (ie, they're crabsticks to English).

Yeah its a liitle known fact that the [eg] encodes used cleaned up [hero legends] subs which are actually jp to chinese to english chinese translations.

In other words they suck and alter the dialogue and meaning of whats happening on screen. This affects zz, victory, turn a gundam.

Zz encodes have a patch floating around using official subs.

Aso anyone that says victory is the best gundam and doesnt speak japanese has actually not paid attention to the dialogue or is handwaving all the badly mistranslated lines.
