They could literally have a horror thriller where a Psychoframe-imbued Gundam runs amok on a massive colony ship and keeps eating and growing because someone hooked up a little girl's brain to its supercomputer, and it's up to the squad in the whatever numberth iteration of not-GMs to stop it.
Although, since you can't reason with feral, it will be without an enemy they can poetically wax high and low and until the moon crashes onto Earth and Gigantis returns, so they might as well just make it an independent IP. They could push it as a movie production, if not a 12-episode affair, but Bandai/Sunrise would have to be crazy to pull this off where the returns in merchandise and exposure are so low compared to one of their full series.
