Shitty Strike I made last year for a shitty expo in my town (tons of military, zero Gunplas).
Overall: adults didn't know what was it (1/10). All kids loved it (9/10).

It's because it has that simple yet complex look to it. Like, it's literally a modernized RX-78-2. For a show that was basically a loose retelling of the OYW and other early UC events, that's golden.
Plus, that sword. That sword is cool.
