What's /m/'s opinion on the boxguard droids from Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
They were a pretty cool idea. Drop things that look like giant crates on the battlefield then it transforms into a hulking 4-legged robot that starts murdering infantry with its guns and tanks with its missiles. Felt like the bigger, deadlier brothers of the murder drones from 00.
Though I doubt a single RTG could power them which was said to be the power source for these things according to the wiki.

They were okay, but they suffered from being the game's primary security bot. They should have been the light version fielded in urban areas as extra fire support for security forces, with heavy ED-209-style robots guarding the interiors of installations.
Also you could kill Boxguards with about two mags from your pistol.
That one area in the FEMA installation where it's just racks and racks of them and you keep hearing noises...

That's one of my favorite places, if only for the ambient noises.
