That usually has some hints that the character is dead though, if they get any screentime (see Abarekilled or Gai from Jetman). Here, they were just going from the Hurricanger vs Abaranger movie, which showed Shurikenger to be plainly alive. The 10 Years After ignored the crossovers, so now the crossovers are ignoring it.
