I like reading everyone's opinions of how things compare relative to other things. I'm also bored.
At least in my opinion the shows are very similar to each other in that each is produced relatively recently, each is quite controversial (on these boards) and each is heavily inspired by previous installments in a franchise and/or other successful franchises. (I accidentally omitted G-reco from the OP.)
It's also interesting to see how some people tend to rate things higher on average than others while other people are harsher and to compare the ratings of other people to how I'd rate them.
