Even more than Bright, really. Bright got awesome later on, but early on he was kind of a dick because he wasn't really trained to be a captain (he was just an Ensign at the beginning of MSG). While Bright had three series (four if you count Unicorn), Jamil had only 39 episodes to show he was a total brodad. Trusting Garrod with the GX, knowing that the Burning Lake would be a trap, being a surrogate father for Garrod, going out in combat in a fucking jeepbring someone back, even having coded secret orders that only the crew knew, just in case. And on top of all of that he overcame a crippling phobia caused by ptsd from the war and forced himself to pilot a mobile suit to save someone's life.

I know we never got to see much of her since it was a movie, but Leahlee Edaberry seemed to really keep shit together extremely well for just a Lieutenant Junior Grade. Like, better than Bright did despite the similar situation.
Though I'm not saying she's better than Bright. He obviously has more adventures under his belt.
