If I remember right, Zentradi, particularly the females, physically age slower than humans. Max is implied to have underwent some sort genetic enhancement related to the Zentradi's miclonization/macronization tech, which allowed him to age slower. This makes both Max and Milia remain "young" enough to have more children in later years.

Well it seems they are going for the Rim has Protoculture seeded races. The Zolans cames came out of nowhere in Macross Dynamite 7 as a third race created by the Protoculture.

m8, have you even seen M7? Just because the Valks remain on-model for most of their airtime doesn't mean that their animation was good, they were just static scene dressing. The vast majority of Valk combat scenes were reused to hell (and they were all average "fly in, pew pew, explode" at best) until the last quarter of the show and even then what few new scenes that there were were nothing remotely spectacular.
I hope they have a retrack of Obelisk, Fanclub Night or Lion in the OST.

I think people forget how shit M7 was about that. Static, endlessly repeated combat sequences (RIP those three VF-11s) and even Battle 7 could do absolutely nothing except fire the Macross Cannon a single repeated way.
Zero I at least give a pass because they were trying something new and overreached. The SV-51 is over designed and they focus too much on Gerwalk/Battroid and not enough fighter combat.

I can't think of any other time where a character went from one spec to another. Assuming the VF-31 follows the same convention as the VF-25, the one head beamgun means VF-31A specification. Some of the other VF-31s in the OP pic have two (or more?) head beamguns, which usually denote higher performance specs.

But even if you weren't overreaching like a motherfucker and we're assuming Frontier is the most popular and the rabid oldfag community here doesn't exist, something that is popular by definition can't be something that no one cares about.
