>You will never experience the comfort of a snug cockpit dimly lit by your control panel
Post comfy cockpits
Yay! Shirow thread!
Do you think there's enough room for two in those cockpits?
>>13644714
Barely room for one
>>13644699
I'll pass.
It must feel like wearing a diaper on your whole body. But if those girls like it, good for them.
Can't top Big O's
>>13644710
>M8
Shirow was full of life back in those days.
>>13644753
Now he's full of dicks
A girl needs more than protective padding to feel safe and secure, she also needs to be tightly strapped in, so that everything stays in place, as exemplified by this picture. Which is why a highleg leotard is more appropriate than a full bodysuit, it supports the perineum much more efficiently and firmly. Combined with the cushy padding, it prevents any accident from happening while also ensuring her comfort.
>>13644726
>diaper
Nyohoho you're gonna attract a certain crowd with that.I'm part of that certain crowd.
>>13644791
No way breh, Full body suit is the way to go.
Body temperature regulation, Full vitals monitoring/life support, padding. Fuck yo leotards.
>>13644858everyone knows Shirow girls are major d-butts
>>13644873
>implying leotards can't be padded too
>>13644699
I wonder ifher cockpit is as comfy as the robot's
>>13644994
She looks like she's made out of candy

>>13645757
Fuck cockpits. I will be at home, cozy as fuck on my bed controlling the mecha remotely, with fresh hot coffee while I listen to Enya.
Cozy at home > alone, bleeding slowly to death in a cockpit with chunks of metal skewing my body and 3rd degree burns making my skin fall off in sheets, the last moments of life in 10/10 agonizing pain.
>>13645750
>curvy yet petite body
>giant with with chipmunk cheeks
Why?
>>13645789
It's Disney concept art
>>13645784
GET OUT
>>13645784
being vulnerable to a hacker hijacking your mecha because its remote piloted sounds like a big flaw... And don't even fucking try to say that wouldn't happen it already happens to drones.
>>13645868
>being vulnerable to a hacker hijacking your mecha because its remote piloted sounds like a big flaw... And don't even fucking try to say that wouldn't happen it already happens to drones.
Yea, that is why real life military has completely given up on drone technology and decided to stick with manned vehicles exclusively for the future, right?
*facepalm*
>>13645898
they sure don't seem to be replacing air-superiority fighters with drones. remote piloted mecha are like drones, therefore they would be faceless mook suits piloted by idiots who can't pilot anything else.
>>13644858
... As in the act of wearing them or the act of... filling them?
>>13646000
Enjoying them on cute girls, mostly.
>>13644699
Enjoy it when the machines forcefully rip your torso out
Why can't Shirow draw women with realistic and child bearing hips?
> thread related with Shirow's work
> tfw police brutality, horse cock & oils incoming
>>13645793
For what?!
>>13646748
>>13647331
you first
angry marines were already a stale meme six years ago
>>13646818
Because his girls aren't the motherly type.
but hey, there's Seska! look at dose hips!
>>13645750
this looks like concept art for dva..
>>13644791

>>13644791
>>13647457
Yes, like with a baby bouncer.
>>13644699
I've had the dream like this and many others that /m/ would love to live.
Wait until the become the nightmares of wars and horrors that give you frights even during the day.

Fuck '95.
>>13647466
Or the remake of Black Magic with elements from the OVA.
Or the remake of Orion.
Or the continuation of Dominion Conflict
instead you will forever have more and more Ghost in the Shell reboots, each new one less fun and creepier than the last, and CG horse dongs until the end of time.
>>13647442
i should check and see if i got the overwatch betaim normally not one for multiplayer shooters but this one looks neat.
>>13645898
>*facepalm*
I want winter break to be over.
>>13645898
You can get away with piloting drones wirelessly because they don't need the reaction times that a walking machine would. You can have plenty of latency and it wouldn't matter too much.
There was a robot in the DARPA challenge that did exactly what you're talking about that couldn't clear even basic obstacles because it took too long for the machine and the user to communicate.
Unless you have sophisticated command interpretation, you aren't controlling shit. And even if you do have that kind of workable interface, then your machine isn't going to be nearly as versatile short of AI that doesn't exist yet and likely won't for the forseeable future.
>not piloting your mecha from a comfy ass sofa

>>13648021
Someone hasn't read Dominion Conflict. It's pretty much perfect.
But then again it was just the first chapter, he might have fucked it up in the long run.

I have a question:
Is thick fluffy hair a requirement for female pilots and if so why?
>>13648138
So it looks cool when they take their helmet off.
>>13648197
WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER EVERYTHING?
>>13648217
those clearly don't have helmets though.
Is it floofy hair thick enough to cushion impacts?
bump!
>>13650961
Okay now I understand why Shirow girls let their hair exposed; the alternative is a retardo-helmet.
>>13652536
And lower-fi.
>>13647856
I didn't see Big Hero Six. Did anything like this end up in the final cut of the movie?
>>13652944
Dang.
>>13652548
What was with Noriko's ninja mask collar in that scene? Was it for warmth?
>>13644710
The fuck is wrong with her left arm?
>>13653052
I'm no artist, but I think this is where her arms are.
>>13653052
She's just pulling it out of the sleeve
>>13653110
that's not how landmates work.
>>13653110
Considering you can see the hand in the image just next to her right elbow...
>>13653125
>>13653124
?
>>13653134
The hands are in the gloves. They're always supposed to be in the gloves. The arms are just drawn a little too long here. It happens.
>>13653134
>>13653147
holy fuck you guys are retarded
>>13644708
I like the way her vulva bulges up from the pressure of her body on the seat.
It's those little details that matter.
>>13653240
Is she part orangutan?
>>13653254
it's anatomically correct, the fuck are you on?
>>13653266
Oh yeah!? Well you're... You know what. Yeah. I am.
>>13653240
Uh, that's a joint you've just put her forearm in the middle of. How would that make sense? The least ridiculous way all of this works is that her arm goes all the waythrough and matches the anatomy of the suit, but it was simply drawn too long here.
And if the proportions are correct, then it's a case of her arm not being fully in the suit's yet (though given how her right arm is flexed, that seems unlikely).
>>13653279
As seen here. Left arm fully in the suit's, right suit arm not fully up against the body.
I'm going to go with an artistic goof rather than crazy anatomy or a nonsense design that would snap her limbs.
>>13653279
>How would that make sense?
see
>>13653124
or, as you say yourself
>then it's a case of her arm not being fully in the suit's yet
>>13653284
neither are fully in the sleeves here, the front panels on which the sleeves are located are supposed to close, allowing the arms to go all the way in in the process
>>13653284
again, the slight bulging of her mound as it is pressed against the piston...
The care and attention Shirow gave to female crotch dynamics was impressive.
>>13653284
>that phallic piece protruding under the crotch
>>13653323
Notice how it makes her vulva pop up from mechanical mass transfer.
>>13653327
better framing
you can't leave out the high cut pelvis
Scopedog cockpits look comfy as fuck, its just that they are very unsafe. Anyone got that cross section image of one?
>>13655823
I love me a good scopedog.
>>13644873
For a moment I thought that was Cybil.
>>13656302
Why would it be her?
>>13656323
Not that one, THIS one!
>>13647403
No, YOU first; I wouldn't be posting if you hadn't started it.
What the sod has that got to do with it?
