The various kibbled bits don't really look similar to anything on the Gusion or a Man Rodi oddly, so whichever it gets it off the mechanics must do a fair bit of re-forging or whatever to get them to fit. I'm hoping it's a Man Rodi and not the Gusion though, just so it's around for a bit longer - though in someone else's hands if possible.

i thought we were getting armour swapping? Despite it being a bit gimmicky it sound like it could have actually been cool. the extra armour bits for the graze kai demonstrated it could have been done well and seem believable within the shows universe
this shit looks fucking ridiculous. its just bits of the gusion slapped on top of what was already there. half of those bits donts even look like they even belong on the gusion, the only recognizable bits are the crotch and those big bell bottomed legs which are just stuck over the shoulder armour

A main suit usually has something a bit special about it going on right now. We haven't explored anything about it's past, why those reactors are so good and why they can't do two any more. As for fights it never does anything special as it never fucking fights. Plus we don't get to just see it move a lot, most shows you'll end up having the suits do something non fight related like moving boxes or helping with repairs, but we barely see the Barbatos even stand in the background

But with a lot of projects like that it lacks passion (and in this case likely budget cause of how much gundam has been done recently) and ends up being quite forgettable. It feels a lot of the time like the story is more testing ideas

There has been a lot of random merchandise made and it is getting an english dub (by an american company so for a western audience) so this was planned to be 00 mk2 I think
The lack of fights and nothing to really fill the time does suggest a lack of budget though. I think they were also planning on a season 2 which if they don't get will make the end of this a mess

That is not completely fair, some of the mech designers are good but they seem to be just phoning it in. A project with passion will get people working really hard no mater the budge. Even a bad show can have a lot of effort put in, but no one seems to really give a shit to even draw on model half the time
