I noticed this show (Iron Leaguer) recently picked up a little popularity and I got curious about it. Before I give it a watch however I was wondering, good people of /m/, what are your thoughts on this series?
It's great.
It might take a while to get used to the designs, though. SD proportions (but still larger than humans) and BIG WATERY EYES DESU on robots feel kinda weird.
Also, I hope you can into raws because the subs are taking forever.

White Castle Subs did some in the meantime, though: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5ro63c2nq7h7qo5/Shippu%21+Iron+Leaguer+17-52%2BOVA+%28sub%29.rar
Besides, Alpha Numbers is kind of a lost cause at this point.
Quite possibly one of my favorite shows in general, it was a fun ride all the way through.
How many giant-robots-doing-sports shows are there? I know about this one and Basquash. Giant-robots-ARE-a-sport might count too.

>White Castle Subs did some in the meantime, though
See this is why i remain on 4chan, i wouldn't have gotten the memo otherwise.
Some of the subs 1-16 appear to be dead on nyaa do you have any other sources?

It's awesome from what I've seen.
Waiting for alpha numbers is suffering though,
Might give up and go for those other subs.

The Hylia has them ( butnot Tokyo Insider, sorry), although some of those are the old Midori releases.

In terms of the latter, there is G Gundam, Tetsujin-28 FX, Daigunder and Red Baron (that one's hard to find in Japanese).

It has a fucking amazing opening.

>did some
And by some you mean all, they finished.

If we count tournament mecha shows, Zoids NCZ and Fuzors.

Indeed
Very entertaining if you into the whole sentient mecha genre. Also worth a gander if you can find them is Musashi.

It's like Iron Leaguer, but in feudel Japan with 'gimick' robots based on real-life samurai lords.
