Strike has 2 chassis variations and 11 packs to go with. How come it never got a Full Armor?
Yes, I know about Duel, its variants and its "Assault Shroud", but Duel is a Strike prototype.

The point with strike is that it's supposed to be modular and fill in the blanks depending on the situation at hand, the 11? packs are supposed to do that, the Strike itself is supposed to be bare, slapping on a full armor variant on the strike itself defeats the purpose of the striker packs.

"Full Armor" is an Engrish term for "Full Armaments". Most of the so-called Full Armor variants emphasize adding weapons over protection, with some of them only adding an extra shield or two for extra "armor".

Because ZZ ended with the main gundam getting a FA upgrade out of literally nowhere and Unicorn wanted to echo that.
Sadly the entire maintenance crew of the Nahel Argama could not match Astonaige's genius and somehow slap on huge chunks of armor plus a giant coating of anti beam paint in like a night, so they just looked at some kid's scribbles and put all the weapons on.
Incidentally Astonaige was a god damn miracle worker who somehow kept 4+ mobile suits in perfect working condition by himself.
Even for the superhuman mechanics of the Gundam metaseries, that's impressive.

That bugs me out too.
But I've been thinking, there are several possibility where the FA parts came from. Anaheim probably develop the parts when Judau had wacky adventures on earth. Then when they got into Nahel Argama, the parts were already there (and it took time for Astonage to put them on). Or maybe they got it from La Vie En Rose.
What pissed me off is how Judau didn't thank Astonage for his hard work and his comment on FA ZZ was all just "It's too bulky".
Why do 3/4 of FA type designs just look like someone strapped a bunch of trash to what was once a functional mobile suit?
