What mecha of the "real robot" genre could solo a tripod?

the answer is always scopedog

>>13599248
None, because real robot genre is a myth. Thread will be shit after this point.
>>13599248
It would have to be airtight to avoid the gas. Otherwise is there much else the tripods do that's any different than your average death ray? Been ages since I've read it.
after that it's just a matter of dashing in, tripping it, and shooting the hell out of the middle
Metal Gear
Arsenal Gear
Arale
>>13599268
>Arale
poop has lots of germs
>>13599248
Oh look it's another retard who think "real" and "super" has anything to do with power levels.
>>13599656
Oh look it's another faggot who adds nothing to a thread but passive-agressive bitching.
>>13599699
Yeah let's not call out flawed reasoning so that it just keeps perpetuating like all the other dumb shit that floats around in this cesspool. Nice one!
>>13599721
Where do you spergers come from? The difference between super and real robots is such a simple thing but any time it's brought up you shit yourselves in rage.
HIKARI NI NAARRREEEEEEEEE

>one post pointing out OP's dumb question
>LOL U MAD
Nice one m80 you're on point as usual skipper
>>13599734
>GGG
>real robot genre
Are you being serious or just having a chuckle?
Anyway, I'd imagine a lot of Gundams could with a decent pilot, tripods don't seem too tough from what I recall
>>13599758
What, exactly is dumb about the question? The question is what kind of mecha from series focused on realism could beat tripods, sine tripods themselves are mecha from a movie focused on realism. You didn't even "call out" my question you just bitched that you don't like this thread.
>>13599767
But I sarcastically thought there was no difference
>>13599771
>movie
>>13599780
>hurr
If the picture didn't clue you in, I'm not talking about the ones from the book or any other adaptation.
>>13599248
>What mecha of the "real robot" genre could solo a tripod?
Any Orbital Frame
>>13599265
If we're going off the book almost nothing could solo a tripod, they didn't have shields in the novel and at one point the British kill one with an artillery piece iirc
>>13599787
Can orbital frames fight on land? Just about version of the tripods are exclusively terrestrial combat machines.
>>13599793
Meant anything not nothing
>>13599771
>The question is what kind of mecha from series focused on realism
2/10 be less obvious
>>13599842
Take your ritalin and preparation H and stop posting.
>>13599794
Oh sure, most of 2nd Runner takes place on Mars
>>13599248
Not sure, but it would be a cool fight.
Book Tripods? Really anything. The Thunderchild managed to take two of them down and the the heat ray isn't going to too dangerous compared to your average beam and energy weapons.
George Pal tripods? That's a lot harder. Nukes didn't do a thing to them. Humanity couldn't down a single one. Their weapons destroy at the atomic level. I'd argue that most reals couldn't down a Pal "flying saucer" tripod. You'd have to have one that can hit harder than a nuclear barrage.
Spielberg tripods? Hard to say. I'm not sure we ever saw one downed, but I'm not sure if we ever saw one out and out eat a nuclear barrage.

Arale teams with the robots from Flying House and Superbook to bring germs and Jesus to stop them
>>13600593
Gizmo was a good minibot
You take that back
>>13599248
raiden.
>>13600597
>Gizmo was a good minibot
>You take that back
Take what back? I didn't say anything negative about him.
Gizmo and the one from Flying House bring God powers and Arale brings germ-filled poop
it's in-line with how the Martians get stopped in the Pal movie iirc, germs with an assist by Jehovah.

Oh, okay. I stand corrected then.
