If /m/ didn't allow for other things like spaceships or starfighters this place would be rather boring and pointless, as there then should be a board for sci-fi which would still have mecha in it. Which would then make the need for an /m/ board irrelevant.

I'm fine with it remaining /m/ and sci-fi still be brought up. But there was thread a while ago where it was asked if Urusei Yatsura was /m/. And it seemed to have divided the /m/en here. I was ok with it. Lum did have a UFO after all.
